Hurst Billet Plus short throw shifter 2011-13 Mustang GT-V6-Boss
The new Hurst Billet Plus short throw shifter is now available for the 2011-12 Mustang equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission. Engineered for more positive and precise gear changes, these shifters reduce knob travel by 27% for a shorter throw, allowing for quicker shifts. They are constructed of precision-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum for ultimate strength.
Quicker, Shorter Throws This Hurst Billet Plus Shifter eliminates the sloppy feeling that many stock factory Mustang shifters commonly are known for. The Hurst shifter features a high ratio pivot mechanism for quicker, shorter throws. The Hurst Billet Plus Shifter improves your shift characteristics and features an integrated adjustable reverse lock-out detent that eliminates the clunky OEM push-down style lock-out which makes it easier to use.
CNC Aluminum Construction This Hurst Billet Plus 2 shifter is designed for the 2011 to 2012 and newer V6 and GT Mustangs equipped with the MT-82 manual 6 speed transmission. This Hurst Billet Plus shifter also includes a chrome Hurst handle and classic white Hurst shift knob and shift boot grommet.
Note: This Hurst shifter includes a shift knob and handle with a thread pattern specific to Hurst Products. The stock factory Mustang shift knob, and all after-market knobs designed to fit the stock Mustang handle, will not fit this shifter.
