This V6 4.0L Mustang Cold Air Intake Kit and Custom Tuner fits 2005-2009 V6 4.0L models, and features the ROUSH¨ air filter, air dam and induction tube.

By far the #1 first modification for your 05-10 Mustang is one of our aftermarket air intake and custom Brenspeed tune packages. No matter which air intake package you choose all of them feature a custom Brenspeed tuned SCT X4. Our custom tunes will give you the fastest throttle response possible, increased HP, the maximum torque possible at lower RPM's, and often improved MPG. Brenspeed's custom tunes are a far cry from your basic aftermarket tune. We have years of experience and R&D invested into our tunes to give you more benefits than just a peak HP gain on the dyno.

All of our packages include one custom tune developed for your Mustang and then that tune modified for 3 various octane fuels. This way you can run regular unleaded fuel if you desire or to take full advantage of your package by running premium fuel. The SCT X4 will store the factory tune so you can return the vehicle to stock at any time.

Cold air induction is a more efficient air intake method. Cold air induction can unleash the latent potential in power and fuel efficiency.

The cold air induction process: Air first comes into the Air Dam, which keeps out hot air from the engine compartment. The result is that the air entering the filter is cooler and dense, providing for a more potent air charge.

The ROUSH air filter media is a synthetic nano-fiber material that traps the smallest dirt particles that ordinary cotton-gauze "performance" filters cant capture. Based on SAE standards, ROUSH air filters capture almost twice the percentage of 2 micron particulates, and more than six times the amount of 0.5 micron particulates than our competitors filters.

Furthermore, ROUSH air filters are constructed using the finest materials available today, featuring a hand-poured urethane body that won't crack, curl or shrink like other rubber or plastisol units used by our competitors. ROUSH air filtration performance is second to none.

This ROUSH air filter is 100% washable, reusable and features a lifetime warranty. The ROUSH Cool Air Dam surrounds the filter, helping to keep out hot air from the engine, further maximizing performance.

Once air passed through the filter, it is taken to the engine through a Modular Intake Tube (MIT) that can improve airflow up to 400 CFM over the restrictive stock intake tube. Made from cross-linked, high-density polyethylene, the MIT straightens out air flow by providing a smooth, unrestricted path that increases air flow to the engine.

This Mustang Cold Air kit includes all the necessary hardware, making it quick and easy to install.
