Comp Cams Phaser Limiters Mustang GT (05-10)
Phaser Limiters are a must have part when you are using a rough idle camshaft. The Limiters will mechanically limit the variable cam timing from experiencing a piston to valve issue under abnormal circumstances. Missed shifts, clutch dumps on slicks, drivetrain breakage, and other issues could all cause the VCT to not stay in tolerance which could cause a valve timing issue. By using these limiters even if the VCT were to move out of the PCM’s programmed timing schedule the cam phasers will be mechanically limited from causing piston to valve damage.
