NGK Plugs are known for high performance applications. These are Stock Replacement plugs and feature a traditional style end for easy gapping. NGK suggests these plugs be used for lightly modified applications. This is an ideal plug for low boost applications when gapped down to .032". It is recomended to run stock gap on non boost applications. If you are running a boost over 5 lbs or NOS you should select a One Heat Range Colder plug.

These double platinum NGK laser platinum spark plugs feature laser-welded technology. Lasers are used to pinpoint precision welds, reducing excess debris. The reduction of debris decreases the required voltage to bridge the spark gap. Platinum disks welded on the ground and center electrodes reduce the wear rate on both of these surfaces, ensuring great durability and long life.

Attention :

On or around Feb 2008 Ford changed designs of the spark plug. They are a completely different thread than used from 2005 until the transition sometime in 2008. If your 2008 Mustang was built in 2008 you should consult with us before you purchase. You can identify which plugs you have by looking at the boot color of the coil pack. Black boots are used in 2005 to mid 2008 which is NOT what these plugs are designed for. Brown boots are mid 2008 and newer which are these spark plugs.
